Many regions around Aotearoa New Zealand, including Auckland, offer SuperGold cards to people aged 65+. This lets you travel for free on most public transport after 9am on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. If you are unable to use public transport, check out our listing for the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) – they have a Total Mobility Scheme which provides lower taxi fares for people who cannot use public transport.
